The prep-school room caters for eight children generally approaching school age, with one experienced NNEB qualified member of staff and a trained nursery assistant. This room is well equipped with essential pre-school educational equipment and games to promote key stage 1 skills to prepare your child for School.

We are currently undertaking the Governments ESTYN Educational Inspection for 3 & 4 year olds, and were previously awarded the OFSTED award for which we achieved straight 'A's in all areas of learning.  Again the children’s work is planned through the Six Desirable Learning Outcomes for maximum learning objectives.   We plan the educational aspect of the child's day through medium and long term plans.  We work closely with an Early Years Advisory Teacher who offers advice and guidance with our educational planning.

This is achieved through play, fun and positive role models. This we feel very strongly about as we promote confidence and self esteem for each individual child.

As our staff to children ratio’s are above statutory requirements and we pride ourselves in carrying extra members of staff for added quality, you know that your child’s needs are always paramount.  As children leave prep school ready to take the next step in their development by starting school, we like to celebrate the occasion by hosting a graduation ceremony where you child will 'dress up' in his/her 'Graduation Cap and Gown' and have his picture taken.  'Click here' to take a peek at one of our recent 'graduates'.
